If McCain was smart, he would go back to the Senate and get in a big battle with the Dems by pushing a cap on spending like the 1995 “Pay as you go rules” or for a fully funded border fence bill. Do something to show Conservatives he really means what he is saying.
I agree. Talk is cheap. I’d add to your list, making the Bush tax cuts permanent and eliminating AMT. Taking on the dems over judicial appointments. And if they just HAVE to have a stimulus package, make it something that counts, like cutting corporate tax rates and dealing with capital gains taxes, or revoking the federal gas tax.
