Didn’t he just say recently that he wouldn’t appoint (or didn’t approve of) judges like Alito who wear their conservatism on their sleeves?

Yea, he’d probably appoint Lynne Stewart to the USSC before naming someone like Alito (Stewart is the left-wing nutcase lawyer for all the WTC ‘93 bombing defendants)
