“McCain has a reputation for standing by his positions. He simply is not a flip flopper.”

Wow, man got any more of that stuff you’re smokin’?

He didn’t see the speech today did he? LOL

The question is, does he have a history of keeping his word? He’s generally been honest and up front when clubbing us behind the knees AFAIK. Has he ever said he was going to do one thing and then done another?

I save that for LIBERAL LIARS. Truth cannot tolerate evil. Lying is your lifestyle and bowing to evil - so get lost.

Go for it. We'll roll right over you.

Looks like you really are a DU disrupter, working for Hillary or Obama!

>half of you can’t stand not being behind a candidate of some kind

I don’t need a “leader” to organize and give meaning to my life.

The less government, the better. As far as I’m concerned, McVain is just one more b*stard that stands between me and my goals. I will succeed in spite of him, Hitlery, and O-bam-bam.

I say it’s time to get rid of all the McLiar’s liberals - it’s time to clean house again. Otherwise we will be over run with more cockroaches and infest us with their dirt.

"Somehow I don’t believe him, I will not vote for that man."

I'm with you. I'm just amazed at the number of posts on this thread from people who are willing to roll over to support McLame after one speech. It's pathetic. If they vote for him, they deserve what they get. Leopards don't change their spots.

>>OK so you are mad at McCain today for giving a speech that appealled to conservative values.

1) I’m not mad at McVain. I’m disinterested in him. I have as much feeling for him as I do trash on the side of the highway.

2) This is not because of the words he read into the microphone today. It is because of the disparity between these fine words and his actions over the past ten years.

Yes, we’ll get some of what we want instead of a 4-8 year bitch slap from hillary and company.

Some FReepers are realistic, others are real-stuck.

He hasn't had to flip-flop because he votes with the Dems.

The McC4in supporters here are most likely drones working out of some McC4in or GOP boiler room...

Look at some of their posting history, and you will see that their “conversion” is as phony and contrived as McVain’s “comeback”.

"Those here that want it their way or the highway are just unrealistic."

Frankly, there is no compromise when it comes to illegals and amnesty. Yes we are at war, and yes, McCain has been a strong supporter of that war. But you can't tell me there isn't a problem with someone who claims on one hand that he supports a strong national security, and then on the other hand co-authors a Bill that grants amnesty to illegal aliens, without providing for the securing of our borders? Sorry if I expect a little more from the people whose salaries I pay with my taxes. Unless he grows a strong Conservative backbone in the next 9 months, I won't be voting in November for him or anyone else. I don't just mean spewing Conservative BS, I mean voting in a Conservative manner. Not showing up for votes in the Senate isn't helping his cause either. Just because the Republicans in Congress have rolled over for the Dems these past years, doesn't mean I have to compromise my values and follow suit when it comes to pulling the voting lever.

Check out who funds McCain’s “Reform Institute.” Guess who again? Nov. will be a choice between Soros v. Soros. He owns most of the Democrats and a big chunk of the Republicans including McCain. McCain is either a true believer or bought and paid for (my vote goes to the latter because he’s a crook.)
