First, I’m not a McCainiac. Why is it that anybody expressing a viewpoint based on political reality is pidgeonholed and then attacked? Who is acting like the juvenile?

And I stand by my statement. Stomping your feet and threatening to hold your breath until you turn blue is that act of a petulant child. Believing you deserve to get everything you want in politics is also the sign of an underdeveloped political viewpoint. In politics you work hard to make the ball bounce your way but if it doesn’t you dig in, work twice as hard and make the best if the cards are stacked against...you until the situation again favors your position.

It’s a fact that McCain in all likelihood is going to be the pub nominee. So conservatives realistically have only a couple choices.

1. Vote for hillary which will only get you a 4-8 year bitch slap and a defeat on every issue you hold dear PLUS 2-3 more SC justices like Ruth Bader Ginsburg AND hundreds of other federal judicial appointments.

2. Vote for no one which eliminats you opportunity to cancel a vote for hillary and avoid #1.

3. Work with the person who wasn’t you first choice on the issues you agree and then vigorously work to change their minds on the ones you don’t.

The only viable option and the one that at least gets you some of what you desire is #3. Marginalizing your position by walking away only puts you on the outside looking in...no doubt stomping your feet at the injustice of it all. But you still end up with nothing.

“All the Romney supporters sure would lap it up from Mitt.”

Only because we’re sure Romney would mean it.

But as for you, it appears you’ve been duped by the tag team of McAmnesty/Huckster.

When McCain loses in Nov, you can thank your McCain style of campaigning for the loss.

Screaming “grow up” at people who are making a rational serious adult decision based on the facts of McCain’s record, is not going to win your candidate any votes. Screaming "the other guy is worse" doesn't answer the very real concerns people who know McCains record have about him. Your style of campaigning, will in fact, cost him votes.

Nice comment.

Thank you. I thought it was considering the way we conservatives have been railroaded by the media to be forced to support liberal candidates.

McCain has a reputation for standing by his positions. He simply is not a flip flopper.

So you're saying he's definitely an open-borders-amnesty fanatic. Always has been, always will be.

Confirmed by his signing-on of Juan Hernandez.

I don’t recall asking you to care what I think and I’m not concerned if you do or do not care. My comments were simply an objective assessment that you can read and do with what you wish, and I don’t particularly care what that is.

Goodbye

Thank You Bob J,

Your one of the few voices of sanity in an FR that has become insane, almost Daily Kos or Moveon like.

Wonder whi the Huck will attack now that Romney is out of the race. He will not expose McLiar in truth. So much for his ‘minister’ background. Truth must be something he keeps for Sundays only.

no its not... its very simple.. Thompson waited to long, Huk is just a comic (talking about cooking Squirrels in a popcorn machine), Romney looks like a gameshow host, Guilani waited to long and betted on Flordia.. So no its not fishy...

I thought it was considering the way we conservatives have been railroaded by the media to be forced to support liberal candidates.

And you thought that you could make that point by insulting another Freeper? Brilliant thinking. You're an asset to this website.

“I ask you to objectively compare Romeny’s speech this morning with your guy’s.”

OK, one was the speech of a winner and one was the speech of a loser.

————You must have made a mistake....One speech was by a successful and engaging business executive; the other by the, “I’m from the the government (and have been on the public dole for years)and I’m here to help you...... He is the loser.

What Conservatives are NOT going to listen to people like the McCainbots around here who scream at them to "Grow up".

These idiots show up and rub salt in our wounds to get us to go along with them. Beginning to agree to do it if they would off themselves first, (just kidding, I guess).

Boo hoo. One good thing about tough times - it weeds the weak whiners out of the party. Mac doesn't need them to win.
