I won't accept responsibility for "breaking it". We got betrayed time and time again once the faux conservatives got in office.

There hasn't been a true conservative nominee since Goldwater. It's not like the party has ~ever~ been as conservative as us out here. Never has been.
Problem is, conservatives then to want to be "all-or-nothing" voters. If we'd agree to move the ball a little at a time every election, we'd be in better shape. But as it is that's what the liberals do... and they're kicking our butts at it.
