I guess it could happen. Especially if it’s close, and Hillary decides she wants those delegates disqualified in Michigan and Florida.

Obama and his peeps could have a cow, and they end up splitting their party similarly to how we’ve split ours.

McCain wins as the moonbats in the left fight it out, and the more moderate morons in the D party decide to go Republican Lite.

McCain’s going to lose conservatives in the general. It may drop his total by as much as ten percent nationally; in individual states it will vary.

If Rudy and Bloomberg come out for McCain, for example, he could win NY.

All this assumes McCain’s head doesn’t explode at CPAC, or someone doesn’t ask him a question about amnesty, et. al.

McCain thinks he’s been ‘jostled’ in the primaries by Mitt and Thompson. The guy is going to really see what heat is all about.

When’s the last time you heard the words ‘Keating Five’? The moonbats have enough ammunition on McCain issuing from the mouths of members of McCain’s own party to do him in.

One of your good points is one I’ve not seen before. To paraphrase: McCain’s had a fairly easy political path, and he seemed shaken by the few hardballs he DID get in 1999/2000 and 2007/08. So it is a reasonable concern to have about McCain that, when he’s running for POTUS against a vicious assault by HillObama and the DNC, he’ll NOT perform well under pressure.
