IMO that is going too far. I detest many of McCain’s policies, attitudes and decisions, and I understand many are sore at him for rapproachment with Vietnam without being tougher on POW/MIA issues. I really do. But his during-the-war serice was very admirable, and I can’t call him a Ho Chi Minh “collaborator.”
On an unrelated note: I never reflected on how closely Ho resembles Col. Sanders.
