Nothing would make McCain happier than for conservatives to leave the GOP. No. I plan on sticking around and making life miserable for the fifth column - the way they did when we were in charge.

That is a good plan until a conservative leader emerges. Unfortunately, there is no one on the horizon but there is a huge void to be filled.

yes, I’ll stay and fight too. You just cripple any chance of hoping to reform the party if you leave. Staying home in 2006 obviously didn’t teach anyone a lesson, it just gave us what we have today. Don’t punish conservatives down ticket we still need the Senate at +40 and we are on the defensive anyway

You are a man of honor and character! I am sticking in the fight too! If McCain gets in I will be hounding my Conservative Congressman, John Culberson, and US Republican Senators to LEAN on McCain to follow the principles of the party.

I'm in in for the fight! Only CINO FReepers take their ball and go home. NO WAY WILL I ALLOW HILLARY OR OBAMA INTO THE WHITEHOUSE!

Agreed. That will be my tactic. When they call telephoning for $$$ I will say I'm am sending my money to a conservative candidate...any state, doesn't matter. I will send their unsolicited envelopes back.

Gonna nag the crap out of any Republican left in Washington.

I'm with you - I will remain a conservative, even if the nominee of the party isn't. I will continue to send faxes or emails or call my Senator and/or my congressman.

I am hoping mclame will at least find someone decent as his running mate.
