I left the GOP during the last Amnesty debate. I couldn’t stand it anymore when McCain, Lindsay Graham, and George Bush called me a racist/bigot and told me to sit down and shut up. I reregistered as an Independent.

You must feel so good about yourself.

Not sure what state you are in, but if you dropped your Republican registration and became an independent, in most states that would be one less vote for a good conservative Republican and one less vote against Amnesty McCain.

And what we have now is Amnesty McCain.

Actually Independent here is ‘non stated’. That means I can vote for whoever I want, plus I can write in whoever I want. And yes I do feel good about myself. The GOP can no longer take me for granted.
