I am supporting local candidates with time and money
and perhaps talent (I will leave it to others to say if I have talent or not). I won’t give money to the RNC or Maine Republican Party. I am sending a check to the local district chair in my home state.
As an aside a major contributor to my church never wrote a check to the church per se. He wrote a check to the church with food pantry as part of the pay to the order of line. I am not leaving the Republican Party-though I am sorely tempted. The country club set is not driving me out. In 1964 and 1974 they left the party.
