No. Stop Hillary now.

We get a ‘twofer’ if Obama is nominated.
1. Hillary is knocked out.
2. Obama is the nominee is beatable because he is
- inexperienced
- clueless
- very liberal
Obama is a black Jimmy Carter.

I don't think that Obama's inexperience will hurt him much among democrats or the middle. They are mostly just unhappy with the status-quo. Few of them understand the issues. Few of them listen carefully to policy questions.

Obama is likable. He's eloquent. He has a message that those voters want to believe in.

- clueless

He's clueless on foreign policy, but he's getting better at not sticking his foot in his mouth. Most of the country is clueless on foreign policy. They won't care if he needs to confer with experienced advisers on foreign policy issues.

He's not clueless with his message or his political approach.

- very liberal

His record is relatively short, and he's using that to his advantage in recreating himself.

Obama is a black Jimmy Carter.

Jimmy Carter won the Presidential election by being the candidate that represented change when people were looking for change.

Presidential approval ratings are in the crapper, and Congress' approval ratings are even lower.

Most people don't really know what they want, but they know they aren't happy with things as they are now.

The Republicans lost the majorities in Congress because they were given control of congress, yet very little changed. We got more big government, more spending on social programs, and a Senate full of RINOs that kept blocking conservative legislation, and was wishy-washy at best on conservative judicial appointments.

The Democrats ran on a platform of trashing everything the Republicans did, and won quite a few seats. However, things still didn't change in the way those who elected wanted them to change.

Bush and McCain are liberal in slightly different ways, but there are a lot of similarities, especially on immigration. He's going to have a hard time convincing people he's going to bring about meaningful change, especially Republicans.

Hillary Clinton represents the same old corruption and even more arrogance than her husband. She's not what moderates and independents are looking for, and she's not want the anti-war left is looking for either.

Obama has the advantage of being more of an unknown, and while people know they don't like the other options, they have hopes for him.

He knows it, and is exploiting it well.

He also has the support of a lot of influential people. He'll have the support of the media. He's got the backing of big 527s like MoveOn.org. He doesn't illicit the same level of hate that Hillary does from the right.

McCain is trying to sell the same message of change. However, he doesn't have the support of his base. He won't have the funding. His biggest advantage is the media, and they will abandon him in favor of Obama.

I think Hillary is more beatable.

However, who would be worse to have in office, Hillary or Obama?

I know for sure that I don't want Hillary, but is the devil you know better than the devil you don't?
