I wasn't a huge Romney fan, by any means, but the fact that he is rich certainly was NOT a reason why I didn't like him very much. He was financial successful? Good on him, we need more of that.

And I agree back. We are mutually agreeable. :-)

I didn’t start off a Romney supporter but after Fred left, he was my guy.

Unfortunately, there is apparently a litmus test for how long you had to be pro-life before you can campaign for the GOP nod.

Hopefully in 4 years, after campaigning for conservatism he can run again.

It’s also disgusting that the fact that Romney was spending his own millions was an issue...i’d much rather have a president who is independently wealthy than somebody who needs the job to pay bills.

With McCain’s “greedy people on Wall Street need to be punished” and Huckabee’s populist schtick, it’s obvious the GOP is now the party of envy, class warfare and socialism.

I suggest everybody who cares about the future of conservatism and our country not just the fact that McCain is the lesser of two MAJOR evils write in Ronald Reagan in November.
