Fox news just reported that Mark Halprin [sic], from Time Magazine, has information that Mitt Romney will be ending his campaign sometime today.

I wish we could but take a look at the insults thrown at this good man on this thread. We can't agree on anything. Sad. While conservatives sit around blasting away at any candidate who doesn't PERFECTLY meet all their criteria to be a conservative the ultimate Republican Anti-Conservative is going to win our nomination.

I think a major reason McCain is so far out in front is because he spent several years as a POW.
I honor his brave and selfless service, greatly. I do not think, however, that this fact alone is enough to cause me to support a candidate.
But most people don’t follow politics nearly as closely as we here do, and all they know is: he has an extremely distinguished service record, is not Hillary Clinton, and is (allegedly) “plain spoken.” Mere name recognition, plus the “thumbnail sketch” version of his public image, was enough in the open and/or winner-take-all primaries the Republicans set up.
I think that’s the simple answer.
He never endorsed anyone he talked against RINO’s and the more of two evils.

Romney is making a good speech at CPAC. I don’t think he’s going away for good. I think he’s running for president in 2012.
Anyway, I’m sad he’s gone.
