Fox news just reported that Mark Halprin [sic], from Time Magazine, has information that Mitt Romney will be ending his campaign sometime today.
Oddly, just today his former bodyguard, fake badge maker and faux cop was cleared of all charges regarding a call someone made, pretending to be a cop.
Poor guy, on the day he might have gotten his old job back!

If you're referring to Slick Willard, I agree that he is the wrong man.
The wrong man for conservatives, anyway.
“That discounts a McCain meltdown between now and the convention.”
I am not worried about a McCain meltdown. I’ve read the stories about his temper, and I believe them. But I don’t think he’s out of control. I think he’s a passionate man (in the positive and negative sense of the term) and he indulges his temper when he feels like it.
He won’t feel like it at the convention or behind any podium. He can control himself if he wants to.
McCain will shaft Huckabee AND Graham. It’ll be McCain/Bloomberg.
The Ron Paul Grassroots actually was focusing on a Stop McCain message until the Romney news. I don’t know what has changed.
The math being what it is, it’s really hard to see McCain not getting the nomination. Locking it up pretty quickly.
But, welcome.
And the guy who came in third on Super Tuesday is still in the race?
I would say that it took him a long time to evaluate our collective idiocy. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, perhaps he thought Republicans were smarter than to vote Huckabee or McCain. I appreciate the generosity of his evaluation.
That question is absurd on its face, because their positions on this issue are identical.
It's akin to saying, "who do you trust more on civil liberties, Andropov or Brezhnev?"
Or an ambassadorship, or an RNC chairmanship, who knows. I don't think there's an understanding in place, but he knows that if he keeps beating up on the guy who's likely to be the eventual nominee, he'll burn most of his bridges.
Yes, I agree that conservatives were fools, but for different reasons.
Who cares about that guy says?
He didn’t vote for Dole in 96.
He voted for some other loon.
Ahh, the Republican party. The party that never wastes an opportunity to waste an opportunity.
You got THAT right!
Yee haw!!! Another liberal bites the dust! Sad thing is—we have no conservative nominees to chose from. Sigh...
Now you’ve got the right man. The Soros man.
Excellent work.
Yah think?
Those of you folks who won’t vote for McCain, will be putting that woman in charge of our military. the woman basically called Petraus (sp? ) a liar.
Rally behind McCain against this woman, a Marxist.
That's such a ridiculous fallacy. McCain isn't entitled to anyone's vote. Either he earns it or, more likely, he does not.
