CNN is also reporting this.

So now we’ve either got Fuhrer Hitlery, Ayatollah Obama, or El Presidente McQueeg. Farkin’ wonderful. There’s a pretty good chance I’m leaving the top of the ticket unvoted for the first time in 24 years.

We blew it, big time.

By supporting a Massachusetts liberal instead of a conservative?

Agreed!

Wow, that was an expensive vanity campaign.

'Expensive' is a relative term. So, for YOU, yeah it would be expensive. But Romney's net worth is around $250 million. That's probably 250-1,000 times YOUR net worth, if you want to play the class envy game.

'Vanity' campaign? Nonsense. Name me one campaign that's not a 'vanity' campaign in your mind.

The establishment and MSM have rigged the system so that only establishment Washington insiders can win. Feel good about that?

“But I don’t understand pulling out now.”

I do. He crunched the numbers, and the chance of him winning were very slim.

He was spending millions.

I think his reasoning was sound, and I wish him the best in his future political career.

Let’s face facts. Romney had his chance, everyone has been exposed to him, he got his side out there. He tried, he lost. It is just as well that he gets out. Time to concentrate on the general election against the Fascist Party. Just remember that the next president will pick up to 6 supreme court justices. Even McCain will choose better than the beast. Another thing, on immigration, who do trust more? McCain or the beast?

Looks like Willard did not have another 36 million under his couch cushions to keep his campaign alive.

I agree. There are still enough delegates up for grabs. Why is he doing this. It seems to me they all jumped ship too quick.

Time For Freepers to support McCain

Freepers first supported Hunter and he dropped out
Freepers then supported Thompson and he dropped out
Freepers then supported Romney and he is about to drop out (if we believe Time)

The next Freeper poll needs to show McCain with a commanding lead.

Romney can release them to whom he chooses.

Let's wait to see what happens.

You are right. And that is the supreme irony in the whole thing. Mitt withdraws looking like a gentleman and Huckabee has shown us all to be the nasty little turd which he is.

The only mystery remaining is who McCain will pick as VP. And whether we will still have a country in four years.

The corpse finally realizes it’s dead.

Does being a jerk come naturally to you or do you have to wok at it?

Bill Crystal called that on Super Tuesday. That is the only logical choice. Hope he helps unite the party!!!

Mitt Romney is smarter than you, more educated than you, has earned far more than you ever will, has a better looking family than you have, and most likely still has a far better future in front of him than you.

He’s far from a corpse.

BTW, his campaign was far from dead until Super Tuesday. Unless you are a McCain person, your candidate was the one who hung on long after his campaign was dead.

I'm hoping McCain drop kicks Huckabee back to Arkansas.

Romney is now on the stage with his beautiful family.

So Mike? Where is YOUR family?

Why aren't YOU showing off the rest of the family, Huckabee...I can't wait.

Yes and if we elect McCain I predict defeat in Iraq, a new rise of islamo-terrorism and a quick decline of the US power.

McCain is nuts and a closet liberal.

Who’d have predicted the sleek limo that is Romney, losing to an overheating jalopy like McCain?
WASS. :(
