The fact is that we have been, and are losing the war for the hearts and minds of the average citizen. We can list all of the reasons that we want, but that won’t change what is. John McCain, as illogical as it seems, is far more conservative than what the average American would admit to because we haven’t sold our ideas to the public since the ‘94 congressional elections.
The Republicans were once the vehicle of the “conservative” movement. Are they any longer?
