“That post wasnt intended to be insulting. I think you are angry right now and not ready to listen to reason.”
Why would I be insulted by some McCain supporter telling me I’m not ready to be reasonable?
“I think most now vowing not to vote for McCain will come around sooner or later after they calm down a little and start thinking clearly.”
I have not made such a vow, but thanks for telling me I’m not calm or thinking clearly. You’re a real asset to McCain, Inc.
“its about beating the Democrats”
Why are they worse than McCain? (Insulting consevatives is probably not a wise move, but it’s your campaign, not mine.)
“...keeping as much power as possible in the hands of Republicans”
We had 55 senate seats and McCain, Lindsey Liteloafers Gramensty, Mel Martinez, Lincoln Chaffee, et. al. blew that all to Hell. And make no mistake, no Senator did more to demoralize the base than John McCain. And he did it with a smile.
Now, tell me again, about “keeping as much power as possible in the hands of Republicans”.
Without the usual insults conservatives have come to associate with McCain and his brood of foot-soldiers.
Give it up bro...Deitz thinks he is on FreeModerates.com
McCain is on this Maverick EGO trip, and the maverick has pissed on conservatives too many times to think he will change now.
No.
I suggest you support McCain if hes the nominee. He will support the troops. He wont cut and run.
“What do you base that on?”
His distinguished record of personal service.
The fact that his son is stationed over there.
His long Senate record of supporting the military.
His advocacy of the surge long before it was popular or successful.
His stated opinions of record.
“All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing”

I’m open to hearing a case for McCain, but the McCainaphiles are uninterested in making the case for him.
If they think they are going get into the White House by running the kind of dishonest, sleazy campaign against Barack that they ran against Mitt, they got another thing coming to them.
“I support McCain because McCain is going to be the Republican nominee. Id do the same if it was going to be Huckabee or Romney or Hunter or Thompson.”
If that’s the best arguement you can make, your campaign is in trouble.
You are an ass. I’m tired of wasting my time arguing with you about nothing. Piss off.
The important issue is amnesty. McCain, Hillary, and Obama have the same position.
I still cannot stomach McCain, he is mentally unsuited to hold the highest office in the land. I just have read to many stories and known to many who have had horrible experiences when he would, with no reason or provocation, launch into a face contorting rage, wagging his finger in someone’s face, and screaming names and obscenities at them.
“The important issue is amnesty. McCain, Hillary, and Obama have the same position.”
Well, if, as you see it, they all have the same position, call that a wash for this year. Work on congress, 2012 presidential, etc.
Look at the issues where there are differences. Would McCain be better on . . . the war? abortion? the Supreme Court in general? the economy/taxes? national health insurance?
