By the way, your tag is one of my favorites.

Islam Delenda Est.

That is Job One. The presence of a Dem in the White House wil open the floodgates. And hey, if it’s (urp) McCain, if AQ thinks he’s a little crazy, that’s to our benefit.

I remember that either the Late Uday or the Late Qusay said of W: “This president is not like the last one.” And you know what he meant.

I’m not trying to start fights. I am trying to do what I can to ensure that we’ll have some semblance of a country for my son to grow up in. AQ and fiends are sitting back, licking their chops for us to lose our nerve. And allowing a Dem (AQ’s choice)in the White House, for whatever reason, would be seen in just that way.

That cannot happen.

We certainly agree on this, and, I would risk saying, in most political notions. However, even in something so important as the GWOT, Clinton might be preferable.

In a tortured corollary to the idea that "only Nixon can go to China," Clinton could not politically afford to be weak in response to Islam, lest every concern over her ability to defend the country be proven legitimate.

McCain, conversely, is to mentally unstable to count on an appropriate execution of the War. Furthermore, there are the previously mentioned issues of 'torture' and gitmo, as well as his disdain for defense contractors. That contempt threatens the research and development of future projects intended to offer greater offensive and defensive capabilities to the country. While Clinton exhibits a similar disquieting position, Republicans in congress can more easily and successfully demand the funding of those projects than they would be able to in a McCain administration.
