No one here is questioning McCains war record. It is his judgement as a senator that is in question. Let me toss this in as well. I have two uncles that were at That The Battle Of The Bulge. Another that was a turret gunner on a B-24. One recently died. They came home from the war and went on with thier lives. They rarely talked about what happened and would never say their service qualified them to be senator much less president.
My response was to a post about ending things like waterboarding, my point was McCain has perspectives from the other side of the ledger i.e. his pow time.
Being a Veteran does not qualify one to be President or even General that is true, it does give better experience when it comes to some things that happen during warfare.
