Huck has no following beyond the evangelical base. He failed to win in the northern states. The South hasspoken and given him some delegates, but not enough to stop McCain.

The conservative vote being split among Romney and Huck will leave only Huck to move on (with a sane Romney realizing the race is over). Huck doesn’t have money to battle effectively in states in which he lacks a natural base.

The damage is done.

It kills me to say it, but Mitt cannot close the deal with conservatives and his Mormom faith regretably killed him last night in Georgia, Tennessee, and Missouri. I don’t understand it, it is bigoted and, frankly, stupid, because it handed McCain the nomination.

McCain has won this nomination ugly.

Now Mitt can decide if he wants to make the nomination worthless to McCain by battling on, or whether he is contemplating 2012 when McCain is defeated in November.
