I can't believe I'm saying this, but the liberals were right. The evangelicals will destroy the Republican party. Remarkable how they've totally dropped the ball this election cycle voting for a loser like Huckabee merely because he's an evangelical. He's a total, big government buffoon and this fact seems to escape them. He is truly the Republican Jimmy Carter. If you look at the people that comprise the evangelical movement and see how easy it is for their pastors to whip them into a frenzy when quoting verses of Scripture, the conclusion I have painfully, slowly come to is they are not the brightest bulbs in the socket when it comes to discerning truth from the false, you would think it would be the other way around
