Can you really do that?
Once you accept... I would think there was no turning back. It’s not like you can just treat those funds as an interest-free loan and then say “Never mind. I’m good” and hand it back.
Unless he didn’t get any of those funds yet... I can’t imagine the FEC allowing him to just back out of his acceptance.
I don’t know if it’s legal or ethical,
but he’s doing it. Would love to see
him hit with a violation, if he’s trying
to have it both ways.
