So we aren’t talking the Presidential ticket? I apologize, I thought we were.

For the third time, who is the RNC asking you “take one more time for the team”?

But, yeah, it was stupid for a lot of those guys (including Rush) to refuse to lift a finger for the conservative candidate (Thompson) and then burst into tears when the conservative candidate (Thompson) loses.

I'm gonna be nursing a grudge against practically the whole lot of 'conservative' talk show hosts for, almost to a person, devaluing and diminishing the only conservative in the race.

Rush, Hannity, Levin, are among the few that had good things to say about FDT when it could've mattered. But even they were lukewarm.

The rest of em can go p*ss up a rope. They're worthless to the cause.

Some people desperately want to win, even if it means taking McCain as the candidate.

Who the heck can actually trust McCain? Here’s some things McCain could give us: amnesty for illegals, higher taxes, National Health Insurance, the return of the Fairness Doctrine, bigger government, “cooperation” with the Democratic liberals.

With all due respect, Fred looked disinterested until that debate in South Carolina. Its not Rush’ job to energize the climate for Fred.

I guess I'm saying that it would be nice if Rush were courageous enough to endorse a candidate he likes even if there is a risk that the candidate won't win.

And I guess I'm saying that I don't have much sympathy for a talk show host who doesn't have that kind of courage.

Anyway, the party elites who pushed Giuliani, McCain, and Romney as the possible nominees are the people who deserve the credit for destroying the party - not the evangelicals.

AMEN! Finally some truth here.

Then our real enemy is the Main Stream Media and we’d do best to attack it head on.

Wouldn’t it be something if any principled conservatives would quit their lucrative jobs there and stop being part of our enemy machine?

Yeah it’s too bad. McCain and Romney are splitting Huckabee’s vote.

Get off it. There's nothing wrong with raising fees and fines. They're tied to actual use and personal actions. If you don't want to pay the fee, don't use the service. If you don't want to pay the fine, don't do the crime.

That's a damn fine conservative solution. What's your problem?

“There’s is no doubt in my mind they have been making back door deals for McCain already.”

Has the RNC given any money to primary candidates in any state that I’m unaware of?

Speaking of Delaware.... True story....

I go to vote. all over the place there's Huckabee signs. I go into the poll, I say...is this allowed?

They say yes, fifty feet away.

I go out and start pacing to measure. They see me so come out with clothesline marked as fifty feet long and they measure.

So I say...okay, can I put up Romney signs?

They shrug...sure.

below....left....BEFORE Romney signs....right ....AFTER I put up Romney signs.

Well they didn't say where I had to put the Romney signs!

Yep. The country clubbers are aghast and chagrined to share the party with conservatives, and are taking it back.

Exactly right. Wasn't it just a few months back that we were told anybody who wouldn't support Rudy was a traitor to the "cause," whatever the cause might have been?

I wonder if there is any chance that Santorum could be talked into running as a third party candidate for President on a Constitution Party ticket. That would give conservatives a real choice for president.

Sad part is he didn’t increase spending on roads. It mostly went to welfare, then education, then the bureaucracy. How much of that to illegals and their American born children is unknown.
