>If Huckabee manages to recover from the treatment hes gotten the past week or so by the media it will be an indication of both his political skills and his potential. Im not optimistic, but I can always hope.
Okay, let’s be clear. Huckabee got a HUGE amount of free media coverage following Iowa. The MSM was blasting his name throughout non-stop. Then Huck lost in NH, and the MSM gave him a pass since he wasn’t expected to do well there.
Then Huck goes to SC and LOSES. He LOSES to McCain, a moderate, in a conservatives state. I mean, WTF?* So on to Florida. And Huck comes in THIRD.
Huck has no one to blame other than his campaign or the GOP voters.
*F means fudge.
“Then Huck goes to SC and LOSES. He LOSES to McCain, a moderate, in a conservatives state. I mean, WTF?* So on to Florida. And Huck comes in THIRD.”
I know, I know. But Thompson was still in the race in GA and that mattered. Then when Huckabee lost, they had written him out of the script by the time he got to Florida. Not to mention the fact that McCain was by then getting all the publicity and it was supposed to be Giuliani’s state.
And don’t forget, he did best Thompson, the pet candidate of 90% of posters in here.
How about someone posting a link to the second vote as it progresses. Looks interesting.
Every candidate that wins a caucus or primary gets hugh amounts of free media cover. Serisly hugh I'm talking.
The MSM covers the victors for a while, and then throws them under the bus. Kinda like Hollywood stars, in the news one day, out the next.
