While I am not a WV’er and I don’t support voting for Huck in any way.. and while I DO WANT a brokered convention... I therefore hope you are wrong and that Huck wins WV.

West Virginia has a caucus, not a primary. They actually caucus several times until one of the candidates has at least 50% of the vote.

I know, it confuses me too!

As a McCain supporter, you would see it that way.

Hey KansasGal-

Isn’t the wonderful Kris Kobach the Chair of the GOP in Kansas? Is he actively working for Mitt? I know he’s Mitt’s Immigration advisor...Does he have a lot of clout in GOP circles in KA?

I wish there were a webcam at this Caucus. They’re re-voting right now.

So does that make the results count about an hour out?

"Update: Romney does not win West Virginia"(headline)

NOW I'm really confused!

The stalking horse argument does not hold water if you look at the exit polls from states that have voted already. Their second choice is McCain and not Romney. Without Huckabee in the race to siphon off some McCain support, this would be over today.

I read somewhere that the delegates vote again until a candidate gets over 50% of the vote.

No, they will revote until somebody gets 50%.

I wish they had changed it to “leading” rather than “not win”, because “not win” sounds like he lost, when it simply isn’t over yet.

They keep voting until someone gets 50%. That can be bad sometimes, all depends how independent the caucus-goers are.

The headline of this thread is misleading if the voting is not even finished.

Not picking on you individually, just confused.

My caucus is at 7 this evening. It’s going to be a loooooong day. LOL

I believe most states not announced or polled by the polling agencies, media, will go to Romney.

Great news. I've been so depressed lately about the national polls, and no one is calling me so I can set them straight...imagine that.

According to a poster, he/she said that a revote would take place at 1:30pm ET. It’s passed that time already where I’m at! Correct? What am I missing here?

Lady, 100% of the votes were counted. Nobody got a majority, so they had to have another vote.
