Romney is the only candidate Democrat or Republican with a good solid, viable economic plan.

The only viable economic plan for any President is to leave it the heck alone. BTW that's not hard if you don't go promising Michigan 20 billion $s for the auto industry.

My quote, I stand by it.

Romney did not promise Michigan a $20 billion bailout. He supported a $20 Billion govt funded project to research alternative fuels which would help MI but would help reduce American dependence on foreign oil and positively impact national security. That is very different from an auto industry handout which would be a bad idea.

If we’re going to use govt funds for research, a Manhattan project style approach to create a viable mainstream alternative fuel for cars. I can think of far worse uses of public funds than this idea from Romney.
