No vote that a person can live comfortably with afterwards is a wasted vote. The only wasted votes are the ones that remain home or were cast for a candidate that the voter knows is substandard just to try to stop another. Amen brother.
It was my high honor to vote for this man today. Perhaps history will prove that he was a prophet who was not recognized in his own country.
Anyway, thank you for your words of encouragement. It was great to get up at 5 am today so I could vote. It felt like a great weight lifted off my shoulders was lifted when I walked out to my car at 0'dark thirty.

And next January, when McDole loses, and a Democrat is sworn in as President, I am going to remember they were a lot of folks who could have made a difference instead of wasting a vote on a candidate, like Thompson, who bowed out.
