A vote for Huckabee is clearly a vote for McCain at this point.

A vote for a runner-up candidate is a vote for a runner-up candidate. What difference does it make if you vote for the # 2 guy instead of the #3 guy? (They both lose) Under your logic, both are wasted votes.
