“We need Mitt. He can do it....”

Hate to be the fly in your ointment here but Rasmussen says Mitt can’t do it.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

Hillary leads Romney 48 to 41%
Obama leads Romney 47 to 40%

At least according to Rasmussen Reports.....

We’re not even in the general...all bets are off when its down to two candidates. Don’t trust the polls. IF anybody can defeat the DEMS and MSM...its ROMNEY!

Polls at this stage of the race are MEANINGLESS. At this time Kerry was AT LEAST 7 points ahead of GWB. Historically Dems are usually ahead in February all the way through the Spring. Mitt WOULD win. He would hold all the Red States, plus take Michigan, and Mass would be on the table. He would probably get Minnesota and Wisconsin. McCain would lose the GOP base, whihc would translate to an electoral disaster.

Rassmussen hasn't seen the debates yet.
