I’m a fan of debit cards as well as cash. They are more secure than carrying around large sums of cash.

debit/credit card is what I have for groceries and other store purchases... connects directly to my bank account but I also have a credit card for shopping online because I don’t want some maggot hacker to have access to my bank accounts

Actually, very bad. Someone steals your debit, they have immediate access to your real money. Credit cards are better because it’s a “loan” and you can cancel the card right away and make claims against certain sales easily.

Did you know if you buy gas with a debit card theyput a hold on a certain amount of money in your account and don’t release it for 24-48 hours ?

If you are doing errands one day, you may find yourself over your balance and your bank will charge you fees.
