What is in the water in the DC area.
Laura, Bennett, Barnes, Kristol have disappointed me beyond belief especially after how hard her and Bill fought against immigration reform.
Let us even not mention the RINO supreme Medved.
The Elephant of the GOP should be replaced with the clothes-pin.
This will be worse than Ford or Dole, it may be time to leave the Freep, and take up a hobby like growing award winning tomatoes....

Or maybe she believes that McCain will do as he promised and first secure the border.
Whether he'll "first secure the border" is not the point. The fence is being built and will be built ((I think) and they've promised to bolster BPs. The real question is whether he'll encourage and then sign a ressurrected version of Z visas, and there is no basis for believing he won't since he's shown himself to be a congenital liar.

I do not like them,
Sam-I-am.
You do not like them.
So you say.
Try them! Try them!
And you may.
Try them and you may, I say.
Sam!
If you will let me be,
I will try them.
You will see.
Say!
I like green eggs and ham!
I do! I like them, Sam-I-am!

I do not for one minute believe that liberal legislature could make Romney state that he supports “a woman’s right to choose.”
I do not for one minute believe a liberal congress would force McCain to team up with Kennedy in offering an amnesty bill.
They’re both liberals. Admit it.

And what would they show? That NY might go to McCain...gosh I'm shocked! What's the exit poll data from CA like? How about Utah? Anyone heard how it's going in IL? Give me a break. The idea that Laura Ingram or anyone else had any secret info at 8:00 am is ridiculous.I gurantee you the campaigns have exit pollsters out already.
I'm not making any claims on how accurate the info is or what uses it'll be put to.

Sell out. What is the point of having principles if you don't live by them.
All these 'I hate McCain' pundits who turn around and admit they'll hold their nose and vote for him are hypocrites, and do NOTHING, absolutely nothing good for conservatives.
Laura has lost a ton of my respect.

I think shes signalling that shes seen something. I think she's signaling a complete and utter lack of understanding of the process of how we elect a President. The vote that counts is in the primaries. Her vote, your vote, my vote, all of God's chillin's votes (except the Electors in the Electoral College) don't mean diddly squat in the General Election. She should know better.......but she and the others continue to perpetuate the illusion that we are a pure Democracy regardless......

Why can't we hold Laura's feet to the fire like anyone else? She has been preaching principles for months and now will abandon them by voting for the lesser of two evils?
What is the point of having principles if you don't live them?

I think someone told me she originally supported Duncan Hunter.
How in the world can you go from Hunter to Romney?
For that matter, how in the world can Hunter endorse Huckabee? (I think it’s the pro-life, anti-China thing with Hunter.)

For the odd and problematical.....
Savage last night mentioned after November he may (or will) start a new party.
Do not laugh, we need to see what becomes of it.
A home for us disaffected with the Mel Martenizism, Medveditting, Kristolizing, and Barnsing of the GOP?
Perhaps...

I don't want to argue with you...I've read many of your posts on FR and generally think of you as thoughtful and sincere. But...I also don't want anyone dampening expectations for Romney in todays races. There are a lot of folks sitting on the fence now about whether or not they think it's worthwhile to bother to vote. I want every possible Romney voter at the polls. I truly believe that McCain will be a disaster as a nominee and a worse disaster as president.
As of yesterday, McCain was ahead by 18 points over Romney in national polling. Given that this Super Tuesday is nearly a national election, that is very significant.
That depends on who's polling you're looking at. Several polls have it much closer. It ain't over til it's over and IMHO nobody at this point has any insider info to the contrary.

Actually, she only said that she would go to the polls in the general. She did not say she would vote for McLame.
She was commenting on the idea of staying home.

It was the anti-China thing with Hunter. Still, shame on him for endorsing Huckabee. You can go from Hunter to Romney because there’s effectively on McCain and Romney left.
