That would be far away at this point.

Currently, two men would still need to hire a "surrogate mother" to carry their child.

Well the article says men could use the same technique to create an egg, so a male-male combination is possible. In any event, fathers and mothers aren't going anywhere - most people aren't gay and I'd guess these techniques will not be used by most gay people either.
