Correct! the dual races will allow a couple who get left out in qualifying another shot at getting into the big one.

it’s a mess trying to keep up with all the twists on race formats and such ,but this part of the season is more for show and bragging rights anyway , IT sure impresses chicks when ya say ya once won a race at Daytona tho, ;-) .. until the Green Flag drops for the Big ONe.. and you’re not in it.. :-)

The dual races will determine the starting grid for the 500 with the exception of the first row which will be determined today. Is that correct? (500 qualifying is confusing!)
