Yes I agree, a perfect day for racing. I AM going to convince the people I cook for on Thurs nights that they should be going out to dinner. :D AND, I am taking a partial vacation day on the 17th.

Johnson and Earnhardt already seem to have a natural bond on the track. In overlaying telemetry from test sessions, Hendrick engineers found nearly identical brake and throttle data, suggesting the pair's driving styles are similar.

The early signs of camaraderie have been a relief to Hendrick, who said he’s far less concerned about how egos and dissension might scuttle performance than with how outsiders (Earnhardt’s massive fan base, for example) perceive the team’s working dynamic.
