Rush has been talking down McCain for the entire campaign and it hasn’t worked. His listeners are the 13 million or so that already wouldn’t vote for McCain or have decided to ignore Rush’s opinion.

You’re probably right. It’s beyond me what kind of person that is registered ‘Republican’ would vote for him. But a lot certainly are.
