I know what you mean! But at this stage, I have to judge someone who is now at least trying to please conservatives today as better than someone who has delighted in poking us in the eye for decades. Not much of a choice, I know. I too am considering some "protest" vote at the top of the ticket in November. I have plenty of time to change my mind.
