Obviously I don’t want the Democrats to win. And I do understand Romney’s “Johnny come lately” conservatism.
But he might be a better choice than someone who appears to revel in poking conservatives in the eye again and again.
And I think the Republican party will be in even worse shape after four years than McCain.
I really fear for the future. I’m concerned that the country is in for a rough four years no matter what. We all have to elect as many conservatives as possible down the ticket and hope not too much damage is done (and that people get their act together) before 2012.
