Whiner? Who's the whiner? It IS rationalization. How do you know I don't get pissed about all the screwers from Hollywood from just talking about 1 guy on a sport team? Incidentally, I hardly ever watch TV and almost NEVER go to movies (maybe once every 3 years). (And not only because of their morals, but because of their blatant politicking and preaching in those shows/movies.) I despise mag's like People for gushing over these assholes. Actually, I think largely the Patriots comport themselves in a good manner, at least on the field. I haven't heard too much about any of them except Brady, and the late accusations against Moss (which I can't say I take seriously as of yet). But if they were caught violating, they were caught, and that's that. I still say better for the Pats to lose even the SB after a great season than win it all (literally) and have this hanging over their heads - which WILL happen, no matter how many people you successfully convince "it all doesn't matter". (Psst - how do you know they didn't benefit from the violation? How long violating? Did they get a good foothold from "archive" stuff? And as the other poster said - breaking & entering is still B&E; doesn't matter that they didn't manage to take any stuff!)

Every team in the NFL has access to every other team's game films, and has for the past 30 plus years. You don't think that coaches from all teams are looking for signals being sent in on those game films and trying to make out what they mean? Head coaches, and assistant coaches have covered their faces since the advent of microphones in the quaterbacks helmets (which began in the 80's way before Bellichick's tenure). So, now people want to pile on the winner of so many games. People did similar things against the Steelers of the 70's, the 49er's of the 80's, the Cowboys of the 90's. Grow up. Join the adult world.
