I am willing to bet Brady’s ankle was more of an issue than the team let one.

Pardon me but, barf. When that was being said in the beginning of the game the first thing that came out of my mouth was that they were setting up an excuse for a possible NE loss. BS. They lost and they lost to a better defensive team in this game. Period.

Oh I agree! I think they were trying to smokescreen the Giants D. It didn't work. But, having had a high ankle sprain, it does not become 100% after two weeks, esp. after having a walking cast. Just admit you're hurt, damn it. Plax played the entire season with a bum ankle, missed practice this week, and had a fine game nonetheless.

But, these are the Patriots. Watch, in a few days, it will be revealed Brady had a stress fracture and played anyway, thus giving the NFL pundits and Pat fans a reason to excuse this loss.
