And for all the people griping about Belicheck leaving the field: about 3000 fans, press, coaches and players all swarmed the field thinking the game was over. Belicheck wasn’t the only one who thought time had expired, about half the people in that stadium thought the same thing.
I absolutely did not see that in that melee. I saw a very pissed off guy going onto the field and that was about it for him. I'm not saying this because I have a grudge against him, I had no dog in this fight, I just knew who I wanted to see win. You really saw that?
