At times I’ve thought about Romney. My biggest concern was, is he really pro life or is this just something to say to get votes. There are some things that President Bush has or hasn’t done that I haven’t liked but I have always found him honest. If he really is upset that Romney recently changed positions on an immigration program he was agreeing to then sorry. Maybe 2012. He needs to walk the walk awhile. You Thompson and Duncan people that are supporting Romney....do you have concerns about this too?
I’m on way too many “I hate Huckabee” threads:’) Sorry. That last post wasn’t supposed to go here but I guess it really doesn’t matter.
It's always a pain having to balance what a candidate says compared to what they have done. I think on balance he is our best choice of the three.
Romney is pro life, really. I live in Massachusetts. His change of mind came years ago and he has stood firmly by it. Imo, this is not 'flip flopping', but being open and intelligent enough to change his mind on an important social issue and being sincere enough to stand by it. He has stood by his pro-life stance in Massachusetts and has taken it on the chin by liberals here. He's the real thing, and he gets my vote.
