Romney has more Christian family values that either Mcshame or the huckster.

"Value" is also a term related to "worship" as "worship" is tied to the Old English word, "worth-ship"--meaning the worth or value placed upon something.

The God in Heaven isn't the only "God" who has such "value" to folks like Romney, his ancestors, and true believing Mormons.

In 1978, an LDS Church copyrighted book said: The Father has promised us that through our faithfulness we shall be blessed with the fulness of his kingdom. In other words we will have the privilege of becoming like him. To become like him we must have all the powers of godhood...We will become gods and have jurisdiction over worlds, and these worlds will be peopled by our own offspring." Go back 6 generations in Romney's family & you have Parley Pratt, an LDS "apostle" who was converted the same year the Book of Mormon was published--converted by his brother Orson, also an LDS "apostle" who drafted "one of the first LDS statements that humans could become gods" (according to Signature Books).

According to Pratt, each exalted man who becomes a god is so "valued" by their "own offspring" (JFSmith's quote above) who will "reverence, adore, and worship" these hundreds, thousands or millions of other gods.

"In the Heaven where our spirits were born, there are many gods, each one of whom has his own wife or wives which were given to him previous to his redemption, while yet in his mortal state. Each God, through his wife or wives, raises up a numerous family of sons and daughters; ...for each father and mother will be in a condition to multiply forever and ever. As soon as each god has begotten many millions of male and female spirits ...he, in connection with his sons, organizes a new world, ...where he sends both the male and female spirits to inhabit tabernacles of flesh and bones. Who was Orson Pratt according to Signature Books, publisher of The Essential Orson Pratt? He was the first to write and publish an account of Smith's famous "first vision," and he authored one of the earliest confessions of Mormon doctrine, which Smith later used in composing his own "Articles of Faith." ...edited the Latter-day Saints' Millennial Star, The New York Messenger, The Seer, and The Prophetic Almanac, the latter consisting of astrological observations, folk wisdom, theological essays, and one of the first LDS statements that humans could become gods.

If polytheism is a "Christian" value, then you don't know what Christianity is. If our God was once a man, then you don't know what Christianity is. Here we have a man who if he's a true believing Mormon, thinks the White House is just a career stop on his way to running his own planet after his death. So if you think becoming a god is a Christian value, then you don't know what Christianity is.

Mormonism is not Christian. However the Bible does play into their beliefs. The Book or Moromon supercedes the Bible. Having said that,

As a Christain, unlike Mike Huckabee, we believe prayer has power and that even MORMON, Mitt can turn around and be a Christian by label and REALLY MEAN IT. Mitt certainly LIVES Biblical Principles, now we want him to turn ONLY to the Bible.
