McCain is a former Episcopalian who now attends a Baptist church (his wife is Baptist)...he's not a member and is not baptized Baptist. Huckabee is Southern Baptist. Now compare that to Fred Thompson who said he didn't attend church any longer, except when visiting his mother in Tennessee.
Now how is it I've seen literally dozens of folks like you who come in & claim to know Huckabee's spiritual condition before God when none of you have pointed to either statements he's made or beliefs he & his fellow Baptists hold to? But my key point in mentioning that is why haven't we seen this same level of judgmentalism at stay-home-on-Sunday-morning Fred? Now granted, being in church doesn't make you a Christian any more than being in a garage makes you a car. But my interest is piqued that so many FReepers seem to know Huck "isn't" a Christian, but they never seem to get around to telling us upon what basis they are judging his "fruits."
That leads me to believe you must have some kind of spiritual x-ray machine. (Do you have a patent on that? You could make millions marketing & selling it! What a fantastic machine!)
I use spiritual discernment.I review McShame on his record on destroying the Bill of Rights, inviting the invasion of this nation by criminals and terrorists. He is completely self-centered.
If you will check the Huckster was de-fellowshiped from the SBC for being a socialist.
Ronald Reagan did not attend a church for show like Slick Willi.
