I didn’t start stockpiling until I saw the first commercial for “NO MONEY DOWN 120% MORTGAGE”.....
(And watching the Katrina Debacle accelerated the process...)

One of my buddies was so worried about Y2K that he stocked up on cases of Ramin noodles in case we had no power and food instantly went bad at stores.
Turned out he was alergic to Ramin Noodles.
