HIDALGO COUNTY - Sheriff's deputies arrested a man connected with a fatal accident involving a human smuggling operation. One of the illegals in the crash died from severe head injuries. Several others were hurt.
Deputies questioned close to 10 people involved in the accident. It helped lead them to the driver. Deputies arrested the man at his home. They also found 13 more illegals at the house.
