Closely related topic, if you don’t mind: The teenage boy who was shot (can’t remember the state) is now “clinically dead,” but they are putting him on life support so they can use his organs.

Whenever I hear this, I become very nervous.

How do they know for sure that boy is really dead?

Hi, newbie here, was touched by your post and just wanted to reassure you that they have a whole battery of tests they run to be sure a person is truly brain dead before they do anything.
