Republicans no longer control the Republican Party and as a result, they can not advance a truly Republican candidate though the current liberal leaning primary process.

I don't think he understands the difference between "Republican" and "conservative." They are not the same.

Republicans still control the process. The eventual nominee will still be a Republican. He just won't be a conservative.

If you’re not conservative, you are Republican in name only... That’s the point.
