McCain, as bad as he is, is not even close to Clinton (or Obama). McCain has a lifetime rating of 82% from the American Conservative Union, vs. 9% for Hillary and 8% for Obama. While I never won a Nobel Prize in Mathematics, I think that my 720 Math SAT score qualifies me to state that 82 > 9, and also that 82 > 8. More to the point, any President nominates federal judges, Supreme Court Justices, issues Executive Orders, is the CINC of the armed forces, the molder of our foreign policy and the appointer of Cabinet officers. I simply cannot stomach the idea of Monica's Ex-Boyfriend's Wife doing these things, EVEN at the price of McStain in the Oval Office.

Lots could happen here...

1) scare the dummycrats into nominating Obama, who would be unelectable in the presidential race.

2) This close to super Tuesday, her comments will be fresh in the minds of every republican voter when deciding between Mitt or McCain, and Mitt will win.

In any event, I really don’t think she’s going to vote for Clintoon.

I see where Ann is coming from, and I'm by no means an Annbot.

I should have thought of this quite awhile ago, but my state has 100% probability of going blue this round unless there is some change before the election, and Mitt wouldn't be the deal breaker. My vote isn't going to count if I vote R because of the electoral votes which I want to keep although I don't think they are currently exercised as the founders intended, but I've not studied that.

So the best I can hope for the way things look now is to vote R for house and senate and down the ticket where it might count there.

If Mitt should squeak through, I'll vote for him, but it won't count, will only be symbolic and if there's no cheating, will show up in the popular vote count. I certainly don't endorse him across the board, but he has enough positives for me in this election, but I don't think he can win. He could put up a good fight though. I would even vote for Huckabee now even with his negatives whereas I wasn't so inclined before, but I don't see him going anywhere.

I would not vote for John McCain. I can't support the lesser of two evils just because he has a "R" by his name. If we're going to have liberal policies, I'd rather have a Democratic President implement them so they can be held responsible.

I watched this. It was hysterical simply for Alan Colmes going over the moon.

I had several impressions.

1) Ann knows how to get attention.
2) Ann does not like McCain, and was talking out of the anger most of us conservatives feel.
3) I understand her point, but I think she is wrong. Ginsberg and Souter and waiting for a lib to come in to retire. I’ll take McCains choices, such as they may be, over Obamas and Clintons.

Abortion. It’s all about Abortion to me. We know Hillary suppports and endorses abortion.

This may, ultimately, be what The Creator is watching...how long will He sustain a country that slaughters His little ones?

A lot of RINO endorsements mean absolutely nothing to conservatives. McCain has won so far with a third of GOP voters backing him. That leaves two-thirds opposed to his presidential candidacy.

So McINsane thinks he could be a democrat? and be John boy’s Vp selection?

Why are republicans even debating whether to vote for him anymore?

“I guess Ann feels she hasn’t been getting enough attention lately.”

As I said in a previous post, Ms. Coulter needs Midol and a sandwich. While she’s at it she might want to purchase a muzzle so we can be spared her assinine comments about supporting Hillary.

Except Romney? I don’t know about that. I’m hoping Romney wins, but he molded himself into an electable candidate to win the Governor spot in Mass, and is now having a hard time backing out of some of his former positions.

My favorite is his story about being a hunter. I think he is the most conservative among the candidates, but the survivors all have negatives.

heh ... I’m a conservative and not happy with the choices left ... but a democrat landslide would put conservatives in minority status for a quite a long time (or forever) ... It is not just the presidency at stake ... it is the house, senate, and the courts.

Where the heck were the conservatives in the early contests? Which were red states! NH, IOWA, NEVADA, SC, and FLORIDA. Many more people have participated in the frickin’ democrat contests in these states! That should set off a huge frickin’ alarm for the bigwigs at the RNC! We had 5 conservative candidates (who all dropped out due to lack of support ... i.e. voting and contributions; Brownback, Gilmore, Tancredo, Hunter, and Thompson) ... then left with 4 RINOs (Rudy who since dropped out, Romney, McCain, and Huckabee) and one who knows what (Paul)

I believe that if conservatives abandon the GOP because of McCain, the vast majority of the military community will feel betrayed and will permanently abandon Conservatism and the GOP. I will have to hold my nose to do it, but I will vote for the GOP nominee even if it is McCain and I will hope that the GOP’s conservative wing will be strong enough to block most of his domestic policies. A truly sad state of affairs.

She also knows that republicans will fight President Hillary’s liberal initiatives tooth and nail but will rubber stamp the exact same liberal proposals from President McCain.

What will most republicans in congress do when democrat Hillary tries to pass Shamnesty?

What will most republicans in congress do when republican McCain tries to pass Shamnesty?

It is probable that fewer liberal initiatives will become law with Hillary in office than with McCain in office.

Nevertheless, I hate what both of them stand for and would not cast a vote for either.

We now have two parties pursuing liberal policies and almost indistinguishable from each other.
It is time to start a National Conservative Party to offer voters a second option.

Reasoned thinking and facts not welcomed here

Why? Because I quoted figures from the generally-respected American Conservative Union which showed that McCain (whom I don't admire, politically) is more conservative than Hillary or Obama? Facts ARE facts...and I don't think it unreasoning as a conservative to want someone less damaging to the nation than Hillary or Obama to be the CINC, etc. Reasonable people can certainly disagree with me - but I had their approximate point of view in 1992, and went along with a bunch of people who didn't vote for Bush 41 (RINO Emeritus, NWO)...which gave us Bill Clinton AND Monica's Ex-Boyfriend's Wife. I've learned from my mistakes.

Maybe you were being sarcastic and I missed it.

reread that, folks.

Believe it = and don't you think that the enemies of our country, our troops are encouraged by your posts saying you'd vote for their candidate rather than McC - or sit it out/vote 3rd party = which is equal to giving Hitlery another vote.

All this rhetoric will give them momentum to carry on - how many more of these scenes will you have helped bring about?

Our prime enemy here, folks, is the mooseslimes...all else pales - even your own egotistical belief that your cause is more important than all else
