The American Conservative Union gives McCain a lifetime score of 83--lowest of the Republican candidates they listed (Fred Thompson was not on the list, or the ones who never served in Congress). On the other side, Edwards had a 10, Hillary had a 9, and Obama an 8. That's quite a difference.

McCain has made a career of poking conservatives in the eye, but the idea that he's worse than Hillary or Obama is ludicrous. The worst he would do with a Supreme Court justice would be someone in the Sandra Day O'Connor mold--someone wishy-washy. Hillary or Obama would pick militant leftists and militant pro-abortionists only.

Keating five.

That is all I need to know. I could never vote for Hillary or Obama. But I also could never vote for McCain.

Sometimes you gotta let the chips fall where they may.

And I have always said that in a democracy (or a constitutional republic) you not only get the government you want. You get the government you deserve.

This country apparently is about to get what it deserves. It is looking more and more like Revelation 17 and 18 are talking about the US.
