How's the weather on planet Paul? Pretty good. Much better than wringing your hands and fighting over who's the least of the RINOs, as most members of FR is doing.

Get bent. I’m a retired USAF Colonel. I served with guys who sat in the Hanoi Hilton in shorty pajamas eating wormy rice while McCain ate good chow and had warm clothes because he was an admiral’s son.

I had my fill of tax and spend ex-Arkansas governors in the 90s.
This whole crop blows, the GOP should feel shame, I feel shame for being registered to the GOP this year.

The only way to stop McCain is to give the nomination to RomneyIn which case, the cure is very bit as bad (if not worse) than the disease.
Why not hope for a brokered convention? What does the conservative movement has to lose? It is hard to imagine how a brokered convention could settle on someone worse than these four clowns.

The Fair Tax is a pipe dream, bub.
Kind of like "President Ron Paul"...
Huckabee will never address the spending equation. But he will give "prebates" to losers on welfare and illegal aliens.
States specifically do not tax certain items in order to reduce the tax burden on the poor. The "prebate" is a way around listing a set of basic needs to not tax. It's about simplification. Using the HHS federal poverty calculation also eliminates the need for another government job or department.

Then McCain should never have offered himself for elected office.
Only the Democrats play the immunity totem politics.

Romney is poor on immigration too. If you were saying to vote for Hunter or Tancredo, I might be interested, but Hunter supports Huckabee and Huckabee has the best plan now.Not so. Tom Tancredo endorsed Romney. That should tell you something. And Romney also has a better record on immigration issues than Huckabee who has only recently had a conversion on the way to the WH. Huckabee's response last night at the debates on immigration was weaker than Romney's. Huckabee is trying to have it both ways.

"You forgot Hucks: (1) Jesus-tells-me-to-let-in-illegal-aliens and (2) Castos-not-bad-guy."Go look at betterimmigration.com. Huck is a little nicer to the longterm aliens that are already here by letting them pay in-state tuition, but on specific actions to stop and reduce illegal and legal immigration, Huck comes off better than Romney.

Thank you for Free Republic, but NO.
There is absolutely no way that I would ever support Huckabee.
A vote for Huckabee is a vote for McCain...and a vote for McCain is a vote for Hillary, blah, blah, blah.

I consider Romney a greater evil than a democrat. His nomination will actually cause me to vote for the democrat.
